The growing importance of waterways in the field of tourism, leisure or urban and landscape planning, requires sustained and consistent development in collaboration with each navigation basin.
|
 To make use of the navigable waterways network for local development, VNF wishes to establish reference documents with the following goals:
> To combine all projects supported by the authorities
> Ensure consistency of the basin
> Guarantee the economic suitability of the equipment offered
> Encourage the involvement of all local players and decision-makers in a concrete and dependable project.
> Encourage the sharing of ambitions and resources
> Create tools for observation, analysis and evaluation.
Master plans are also programming tools necessary for investment planning, in particular within the framework of the State-Region plan implementation agreements (CPER).
