Swimming Sites Opening in Paris: Navigation Conditions for Summer 2025

On the occasion of Paris Plages, the City of Paris will open three swimming sites on the Seine from July 5 to August 31, 2025: Bras Marie, Bras de Grenelle, and Bercy.

As a result, navigation conditions in Paris will be modified during this period. To ensure navigation safety, Voies Navigables de France (VNF) is setting up a Traffic Information and Management Center (CIGT), available 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Depending on health conditions and the flow of the Seine, the City of Paris will decide daily whether to open the swimming sites. Navigators are advised to check the Paris City website daily for updates : www.paris.fr.
